Member Communications - eNewslettersMEA offers two online newsletters, these HTML newsletters are emailed monthly.
eConnection, exclusive for members, and Energy Delivery News & Solutions (EDNS), available to all.
- EDNS features 3-4 successful practices a month and energy news gathered from across the globe.
- eConnection features an exclusive member only successful practice and an overview of what MEA members and MEA is doing. Think of it as a monthly membership overview where you can learn about MEA products and services and other benefits of your MEA membership.
Introducing 2 additional newsletters: Energetic Women Update and Utility Leadership News.
Archived issues can be found under the Publications & Resources tab or by following this link.
Just as you can sign-up to receive notices about posts in the forums you can subscribe and unsubscribe from our eNewsletters. To do this yourself, login to MEA's site and on the right of your MEA Profile page select "view/edit profile".

A new page opens. On this page you can edit your name, title, email, address and more but most importantly for this post - you can select and deselect MEA mailing lists. This feature allow you to manage the amount of communication you receive from MEA.

*Not all profiles will offer all the lists shown in the example above and some may have more. Mailing lists shown on your profile page are dependent on MEA membership types.

You may request a login here and an email will be sent confirming your login information within 2 business days.
This is a different form then the Request for Membership Information, which is a membership sales request form.

Online Event Registration Process
THE LOGIN REQUIREMENT makes sure that your registration & payment information gets attached to your personal record. This helps with collecting CEU information and with recording activity for awards, such as the MEA Hall of Fame. It also helps prevent duplicate records in MEA's database.
MEA member's, EnergyU Subscribers, and Event Attendees can get a login and password to register for events on midwestenergy.org.
Most member's already have a login and password.
Contact Larissa Presho, Database Administrator, x115 for assistance.

Career Center Recruiter Information
To gain access to MEA's Career Center your company must be a member of MEA. Posting jobs is a free member benefit.
Contact John Gann (651) 289-9600 x105 to be added as a recruiter in the system. You will receive a login and password (it is the same as your login & password for this website) if you do not already have one.
To add a job to the Career Center, login to the website and then go here: http://www.midwestenergy.org/recruitercenter.cfm and click on the Add New Job Post link. You will also want to edit your Career Center profile, as this is different than your personal profile.
If you have questions John Gann will have the most answers, otherwise, I can try to be of assistance. My phone extension is 108.
Thanks,

Setting Forum Preferences to receive email notifications when people post in a forum or thread within a forum.
When ALL is selected you will receive email notifications for each response and each new discussion thread within a forum. i.e. All present and all new discussions within the Energetic Women Forum.
In the example below - any post in Energetic Women (reply's or new discussions) will result in an email notification.
When THREADS is selected you will receive email notifications for any posts within a particular thread (current threaded discussions only). i.e. Forum Elizabeth's Understanding selected discussion: Website Tips.
In the example below, if Elizabeth posts a new discussion thread the person will not receive a notification.
Note: Within this Message board Threads and Discussions are the same thing.

LOGIN REMINDER: The new login process allows all (when using "edit profile) or some (event registrations) of your data changes to be saved to your personal record.
If you see this disk the data you enter into that field will overwrite what is in your permanent MEA record.
eg. If you are logged in as yourself and are registering someone else for a roundtable and you enter the other persons email in the email field and it has the disk next to it the new persons email will overwrite yours.
Any of us here at MEA are ready and willing to help if you have questions about this process. For quick seasoned help contact:
(651) 289-9600
Larissa x115 Sandy x119 or me x108
